The following booklet was published by Peter White in 1988 as correction for the earlier Watts and White The Bayonet Book. I have retyped it here for your use. Mr. White did not copywrite the booklet in the hopes that it would be copied and passed around. This electronic verison was not envisioned when he wrote the booklet, but seems to fit in with his hopes for the booklet. When I spoke with him about copying this booklet, he also suggested that we should further update it. I think that is a marvelous idea. I will keep this version as he wrote it, but will also post an updated version as I receive information for you collectors out there. So if you have updates or corrections to The Bayonet Book, please e-mail them to me so I can post them for everyone to see. The more information we share the better for our hobby.
BTW, any typos are mine and not Mr. White's. Please point them out and I will correct them.
