German Experimental Vulcanized Rubber Scabbard. Patented in 1906. This is one piece oval rubber scabbard. It will take a KS98, 84/98, or KS98 dress blade. Unmarked & has an external chape. Looks like the leather scabbard, but without the seam. Chape is broken off the bottom of the rubber. All parts are present & could be glued back together. Otherwise very nice shape. View Photo |

leather scabbard. Typical Italian fittings with oval frog stud and Italian
inspection stamps. Appears to fit something like the Enfield style yataghan
on pg 96-99 of Calamandrei. 574 mm long. Very nice condition.

| New | F09-i | German fabric backed frog. I believe this is a WWI
ersatz frog. Very different from the WWII era cloth backed dress frogs.
Brown pebble grain leather. There is a 4 inch long iron bar inserted between
the layers and riveted into place. 4 more steel rivets on the corners.
Backing is a corsely woven burlap type material. I think this was made for a
KS98, but also fits the S71 and 84/98 nicely. Superb frog.
