My lastest update is now online with a completely redisigned look and shopping cart. CLICK HERE I think you'll really like this new format. This is the 6th update for 2008. I've had a fantastic year so far with finding really good stuff available. I have listed over 100 new bayonets and related items this time. A huge addition.

For those of you that are new to this page, I have been a bayonet collector for more than two decades. I am currently the President of the Society of American Bayonet Collectors. I started this Web Page in the hopes that it can act as a gathering place for other bayonet collectors. This was the very first bayonet collectors page on the internet. My Personal interests are international bayonets mainly pre-1850. I am most interested in plug bayonets, early socket bayonets, and hirschfangers. I am also quite interested in toy bayonets, tools and decorative items made from bayonets. I have many bayonets for sale or trade. Let me know if you have bayonets in my interest area for sale or trade. I am also willing to help you identify an unknown bayonet from your collection provided that you do your homework first. Most of the requests I receive could have been easily identified by the person themselves. Please do some checking on your own first, if you get stuck, I'll try and help you. Follow this link for requesting help (Bayonet Identification Page). The information on this page is updated as the mood strikes me.

New Bayonet Book

We have another new Bayonet book that will be released shortly. It is Raymond LaBar's long anticipated Japanese bayonet book. I haven't seen my copy yet, but the preview pages look very good. Here is a link to Raymond's sale page. http://www.bayonetsofjapan.com/

Society of American Bayonet Collectors

I really can't say enough about the SABC if you have any interest in bayonets it is simply an organization that you cannot afford to miss out on. The SABC is dedicated to collectors of bayonets made or used in the US. If you are such a collector, then you really must join the SABC. If you are (like me) a collector of international bayonets, I still think that you would benefit from membership. The membership dues are quite low and include a subscription to the SABC Journal. Membership is available world wide. If you are interested in joining, contact me for a membership application. I would be happy to sponsor you for membership.

The SABC has website. You can find it at http://bayonetcollectors.org/
